GRaCE-AGE exhibits at Meridian LIVE

GRaCE-AGE exhibited at Meridian LIVE, an interactive event to showcase innovators from across the healthcare sector, organised by the West Midlands Academic Health Science Network (WMAHSN).

GRaCE exhibition at Meridian LIVE

The event, hosted at Edgbaston Stadium in Birmingham, was to commemorate the first birthday of the Meridian online health innovation exchange, a platform for sharing ideas and innovations and building networks among those seeking to improve healthcare in the West Midlands - including people within the NHS, academia, industry and the third sector. The service currently has over 500 registered users, and over 130 innovations submitted.

As well as learning about other local projects in healthcare and the support available from the WMAHSN, Meridian LIVE was an opportunity to promote the ideas and developments of GRaCE-AGE to the 200 delegates present, with the team handing out informational materials and offering a demo of the software.

Dr Buckingham said: "The Meridian event is a fantastic opportunity to discuss ideas and shared objectives with other innovative healthcare organisations. We have already made some significant new contacts and I am very grateful to Meridian for its support and access to connections within the region."
